Michelle Gill is a trusted coach, consultant, and speaker specializing in emotional intelligence, resilience, and organizational culture. As the founder of Believe Learning, she partners with mission-driven organizations to help leaders and teams cultivate trust, strengthen communication, and embed well-being into workplace culture. Through coaching, consulting, and professional learning, she empowers individuals and teams to navigate change, enhance leadership effectiveness, and create sustainable impact.
With over two decades of experience, Michelle has worked across public and nonprofit sectors, supporting organizations in building emotionally intelligent leadership and high-trust teams. Her career began in The School District of Philadelphia and Fairfax County Public Schools, where she spent 14 years as a classroom teacher before transitioning to the nonprofit sector. She later served as Director of Consulting & Certification at the Center for Responsive Schools, leading teams that supported the implementation of social and emotional intelligence practices in schools and districts nationwide.
In 2021, Michelle became Coordinator of Student Services for Social, Emotional, and Academic Learning (SEAL) at the Centennial School District in Bucks County, PA. Over three years, she collaborated with district stakeholders to design and implement a comprehensive framework, embedding social and emotional well-being practices into district systems and priorities.
Beyond her direct work with organizations, Michelle is a thought leader in emotional intelligence, leadership development, and educator efficacy. She has authored dozens of articles on the impact of emotional intelligence and social-emotional learning and has been featured on numerous podcasts discussing the intersection of well-being, organizational culture, and improved outcomes. A dynamic keynote speaker, Michelle delivers research-backed insights and practical strategies to conferences and events nationwide.
She is a Social & Emotional Intelligence Certified Coach with the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence (ISEI) and a member of the SEL Fellows Academy with the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL).
Michelle lives in Montgomery County, PA, with her husband, two children, and their Portuguese Water Dog. Together, they love gardening, playing board games, and seeking out new adventures.
