Resilient Leadership: Beat Burnout & Build a Thriving Culture
This course is designed to support mission-driven leaders like you in moving from survival mode to sustainability—and from burnout to aligned, resilient leadership.
We follow a simple but powerful path:
Connect → Empower → Transform
Each of the 12 modules includes:
✔ One short learning lesson (video or audio)
✔ 1–2 practical action tasks
✔ Downloadable tools to apply right away
You can complete the course in 12 weeks (1 module/week) or stretch it across 4–6 months.
Choose the pace that honors your goals, your energy, and your season of leadership.
How This Course Works
This is not a test-based course—it’s a transformation space.
It’s grounded in the Emotional Intelligence Coaching Theory of Change (Six Seconds)
Insight → Practice → Reflection → Change
When we deepen self-awareness, apply what we’re learning, and reflect intentionally, change becomes lasting.
You’ll experience that in every module.
Suggested Pacing Overview
Phase 1: CONNECT (Weeks 1–4)
Reconnect to your purpose, patterns, and personal capacity.
- Module 1: Welcome & Getting Started
(Tip: Schedule your 1:1 coaching sessions if you’re in Tier 3) - Module 2: Reconnect to What You Believe
- Module 3: Understanding Burnout
- Module 4: Emotional Awareness in Action
(Tip: This is a great time to complete your SEIP assessment if applicable)
Phase 2: EMPOWER (Weeks 5–8)
Build boundaries, regulation skills, and relational confidence.
- Module 5: Self-Management in Motion
- Module 6: Boundaries & Sustainability
(Tip: Engage in the Resilient Leadership Community if you’re in Tier 2 or 3) - Module 7: Resilience Habits for Leaders
- Module 8: Lead with Curiosity
(Tip: Consider a pause or reflection week after Module 7 for deeper integration)
Phase 3: TRANSFORM (Weeks 9–12)
Apply what you’ve learned to influence culture and systems.
- Module 9: From Empathy to Action — Leading a Resilient Team
- Module 10: Brave Conversations
- Module 11: Leading a Culture of Care
- Module 12: Reflect, Celebrate & Rise Forward
(Tip: Schedule your wrap-up coaching and reconnect in the community space!)
Alternate Pacing Options
- One module every 2 weeks → 6-month learning path
- One module/month → Ideal for teams or retreats
- Add coaching or journaling weeks between phases
Your First Task: Protect Your Time
Set aside time in your calendar to focus on this course.
What to Block:
Course Reflection & Learning
→ 30–45 minutes per week
Watch the lesson, complete your action task, and reflect.
Coaching Sessions (Tier 3)
→ 60 minutes every 2–3 weeks
Use the Coaching Scheduler to book. Add 10 minutes before/after to prepare and debrief.
Why This Matters
Task switching reduces focus and increases fatigue.
It can take up to 20 minutes to refocus after an interruption.
Protecting time gives your brain space to integrate insight, process emotion, and lead with clarity.
Tips for Follow-Through
- Set a recurring calendar block titled “Leadership Growth Time”
- Treat that time like a meeting with your most important collaborator—you
- Turn off notifications and give yourself permission to be present
